What are we doing for our member companies?

Every company profits from the CCI's work – directly or indirectly and a lot of times, without even knowing it. When the IHK improves the transport system to and from the city center, everyone who has a business there profits. From an expert opinion on a difficult public investment decision everyone who operates a business in our region profits. Everyone who employs a clerk or designer for digital printing media also profits from the CCI's work.

Each year, we hold more than approximately 7,600 interim examinations and 8,500 final examinations and ensure high-quality vocational training. In constant dialogue with political decision-makers, we are working for low tax and financial duties, to cut red tape and for sustainable environmental legal restraints.

In addition, the CCI offers concrete services: Business start-up consultancy, legal and tax information and support to our member companies when building up business contacts abroad, and so on – these form only a small fraction of the large range of services we provide.
