Automation Valley Northern Bavaria

The Automation Valley Northern Bavaria is an initiative of North Bavarian companies and institutions from the field of automation technology. The initiative is coordinated through the IHK's in Bayreuth, Coburg, Nuremberg and Würzburg-Schweinfurt as well as the East Bavarian innovation drive. It aims at strengthening the competitive ability as well as the innovative energy of North Bavarian automation technology.

The SPS/IPC/DRIVES is the leading exhibition for electric automation technology. It covers all components down to the system and offers herewith integrated automation solutions. The exhibition takes place in an annual frequency in Nuremberg.

2010 more than 52,000 trade visitors poured into SPS/IPC/DRIVES in Nuremberg and chose this exhibition as their highlight of the year for the electric automation industry.
